CoinEx ceases operations: withdrawals until December 22, 2026

CoinEx has announced an orderly wind-down after nearly nine years of operation. The reasons: a prolonged market downturn, falling volumes and liquidity, and rising regulatory and compliance costs.

Key dates for asset holders:

• December 22, 2026 — the final withdrawal deadline (90-day window).
• September 29, 2026 — CoinEx Smart Chain (CSC), OneSwap and the cross-chain bridge are discontinued.
• After December 22 — withdrawals close; unwithdrawn USDT moves to independent custody with a 5% monthly fee on the balance.

If you still hold assets on CoinEx, withdraw early: verification and manual reviews take time. Arbitrage traders should remove the exchange from their routes.
